Scope and Contents

Notes for a sermon on faith; an outline for a sermon on the necessity of religion; notes on "Milton's Panegyric of Chastity" from Comus; notes on St. Patrick; an outline for a sermon on the Passion; clippings of an address by James Freeman Clarke titled "What Do We Know About Christ? Or, Agnosticism in Regard to Jesus" (5-6-1882); and a copy of William Jennings Bryan's address "The Prince of Peace" (1894).

Further includes a booklet titled "Notes and Extracts for Sermons" with notes, lists of bible passages, and outlines for sermons (1884).
