Konrad Adam Stehling's songbook of works for guitar (attributed), bound music manuscript, 94 pages, England, 1850-1902

The first 9 works include 2 transcriptions by Derwort of works by Moscheles, 2 works by De Call, and five French or English folk songs. The latter (and much larger) grouping of works, clearly in a different hand and possibly written down by Stehling or a copyist or student under his supervision, contains works by Mertz, Carcassi, Carulli, & Giuliani.
In pencil on first front free endpaper verso: "property of Mr(?) Stehling (friend of Sor)". Konrad Adam Stehling was a German-born violist and guitar virtuoso who moved to London around 1850, served as principal violist in several London orchestras, and taught both instruments to students (reputedly including some attending the Royal Academy of Music). Fernando Sor was a Spanish guitarist and composer who wrote one of the most important instructional texts for guitar, Methode pour le guitare. Allegedly Sor dedicated the German edition of his Methode to Stehling, although this does not appear in digitized versions of the few surviving copies.
Stehling supposedly had an extensive library of guitar music that was dispersed at his death. It is possible this volume was in his collection. If the Stehling attribution is accurate, the volume was presumably given to or acquired by him from an English colleague, after which Stehling or a student filled it with the works by Mertz, Carcassi, et al.
