1 Typed Letter (copy) from Edward L. Milhau to Louis Garesche, recounting an attempt to visit Julius P. Garesche. According to the letter, Milhau was a member of the 7th Regiment New York National Guard that went to Washington, D.C. in 1861. Reference to Count Henri de la Perouse and to ancestors from St. Domingo. Discussion of Milhau family genealogy. Sent from Brooklyn, New York.
