Scope and Contents

Approximately 45 pamphlets and other pieces of printed ephemera published by small or private presses in the United States and the United Kingdom between 1887 and 1984. The bulk of the collection is from the private press of British Anglican priest G.R. Woodward at his home in Highgate Village, London, but many others are also represented, including the Fleece Press, Overbrook Press, and Favil Press. Where possible, the name of the press has been included in the description.

Conditions Governing Access

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
