Wheatley Rectory Farm, 1842 - 1885

Scope and Contents

A collection of approximately 75 legal documents and letters dated between 1842 and 1885 related to Wheatley Rectory Farm in Oxford, at the time a part of the estate of George Gammie in settlement with John Perry Watlington, MP Robert Peel Ethelston, and Herbert Riversdale Mansel Jones. Also included are related materials pertaining to a marriage settlement and an 1863 indenture concerning the parishes of Wheatley and Shotover with respect to a conveyance of hereditaments to the Wycombe Railway – with an attached plan.
