Scope and Contents
Approximately 130 pieces of correspondence sent to British politician Aneurin Williams between 1874 and 1934 from various personalities in the arts and politics, including historian, novelist, and editor J.A. Froude, German philologist Kuno Meyer, and Sir Edward Augustus Bond, principal Librarian of the British Museum. A curatorial file compiled by Scheetz is also included.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Biographical / Historical
Aneurin Williams (1855-1935) was a British politician of the Liberal party. He held seats at various times in Devon and County Durham, and is perhaps best known for his publicization of and opposition to the Armenian genocide.
