Paul Family, 1877 - 1916
Scope and Contents
Seven letters dated 1877 to 1916 addressed individually to members of an unknown Paul family: 4 to Mr. Paul, 2 to Miss Paul, and one to ”dear Nellie” – likely the same. The senders are John Campbell Groden (1847-1934), 7th Earl and 1st Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair; Frederica G. Jones; Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird (1847-1923), 11th Baron of Kinnaird; and Mary Alma Kinnaird, 11th Baroness. A curatorial file created by Scheetz is also included, and contains a 1979 letter addressed to Scheetz from the current Lord Kinnaird indicating that Mr. Paul acted as secretary to the 11th Baron of Kinnaird.
