Scope and Contents
Copy of a color photograph of members of the 551st loading a mortar in the snows of either the Ardennes during the Bulge campaign or the Maritime Alps. Used for the back cover of the book and possibly obtained from the Center for Military History in Carlisle, PA. This copy was printed in 1996.

The bulk of the collection is open for research use, with the following exceptions:
Access to unpublished manuscripts by Gregory Orfalea is restricted for 20 years from the date of donation (2043). Access to the unpublished manuscripts during this time period is at the discretion of Mr. Orfalea.
Access to interviews with Arab-Americans (recordings and transcripts) are restricted for 5 years from the date of donation (the restriction will be lifted in 2028). Access to interviews during this time period is at the discretion of Mr. Orfalea.
