Scope and Contents
Series 3: United Nations/South Africa (1983-2001) contains information from Blaney’s work in the United Nations as Deputy United States Representative to the Economic and Social Council, and his continued career in the foreign service as Director of Southern African Affairs and in Charge d’Affaires for South Africa. This series includes correspondence, photographs, award diplomas, notebooks, and performance evaluations.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Library Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval.
