The collection documents the career of Mickey Thomas Terry as an organist and historian of African American classical music.
It includes correspondence, music programs, posters, interviews with George Walker and Jean Guillou, music recordings (of Terry and others), clippings, and other materials related to African American composers and organists. Other individuals who are represented in the collection include David Hurd, Ruth Norman, Noel Da Costa, and William B. Cooper, among others.
