This sub-series contains materials from Ylitalo's posting in Asuncion, Paraguay, including planners (1971-1972), correspondence, printed matter, photographs, newspaper clippings, reports, and 5 scrapbooks. Also, box 2 folder 33 contains two typed letters signed from President Richard Nixon to Ylitalo dated 11/17/1969 and 6/8/1970 together with a printed speech by Nixon: "Pursuit of Peace" dated 11/3/1969, regarding the Vietnam War.
