Scope and Contents

Two magazine articles with photographs covering training of tank destroyer battalions at Camp Hood, Texas: two-page article, "Tank Stoppers" by Gurney Williams, from Collier's magazine (1942-09-12); five-page article, "Tank Destroyers: They are the Army's answer to the tank menace", from Life magazine (1942-10-26). Both articles showcase the construction of improvised weapons and "sticky bombs".
