Scope and Contents

Memos, letters, notes, reports, and ephemera regarding the author Ernst Wiechert; includes a typed transcript of an interrrogation of Wiechert dated 1945-12-03, restricted copies of an undated letter by Eithne Wilkins to Ernst Wiechert; typed address, presumably by Isenstead, in honor of Wiechert's 60th birthday; typed copies of a letter by Isenstead to Wiechert dated 1947-05-18; letter by Wiechert to Isenstead dated 1946-03-21 forwarding a threat he had received by mail and requesting a weapon for self-defense.
