Typed lists including NS publishing houses and their home cities and NS authors and their respective fields, subjects, or genres; letters, memos, and reports regarding the printer/publisher Joseph Seitz and his applications to publish newspapers and textbooks in Bavaria, 1936-1945; memo dated 1945-07-01 to District Information Service Control Command, SHAEF, "Report of Press Reconnaissance Team for Regensburg, Straubing, Wurzburg, and Aschaffensberg, Germany area", providing background and details of efforts to identify "black [list]" individuals and newspapers, and "white [list]" individuals for possible liscensing to publish news and as possible informants, 32 pages; application letter and reference letters of journalist and publisher Kurt Scholz, with a photo of Scholz, 1933-1945.
