 Series

Scope and Contents Note

From the Collection:

The Robert L. Norberg Papers comprise correspondence, reports, publications, maps, photographs, oral history interviews, and video footage documenting the activities of the Arabian and American Oil Company (ARAMCO) in Saudi Arabia. Norberg, a longtime executive at ARAMCO, preserved these documents from his career with the company. Of particular interest are reports concerning ARAMCO's role in the economic and social life of Saudi Arabia as well as printed materials collected by Norberg during his tenure with the company. The collection also includes hundreds of photogaphs depicting ARAMCO's activities and various scenes of life in the nation. The Robert L. Norberg Papers complement a number of other manuscripts collections relating to Saudi Arabia in the Booth Family Center for Special Collections.
