Contains the files of past presidents of the Manuscript Society. Includes correspondence, documents generated from the business of the Society, and printed materials. The series is arranged chronologically by presidents' name for the years they served as president. The date span in parenthesis indicates the term of each president. The date span next to the presidential tenure is the date span of the documents in the folder. Some presidents held other positions in the Society, and some presidents had correspondence outside of their years as president.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
