Scope and Contents
This series contains the speeches made by Thomas Dodd, Jr. in his time as U.S. ambassador from 1993-2001, largely in relation to Latin America, especially his ambassadorships in Uruguay and Costa Rica. Most of the speeches are in Spanish, although some are in English. Most of the speeches are in outline form with notations made by the ambassador himself. Arranged chronologically.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
