Scope and Contents

This series contains one large scrapbook maintained by Bailey K. Ashford documenting his service as a U.S. Army medical officer during World War I. A few large photographs from World War I trenches are also retained along with some medals honoring Ashford's World War I service.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval.
