Correspondence and Foreword to "In Common Cause" by David Cohen, 1978-1993
Scope and Contents
This series consists of printed materials, correspondence, scrapbooks, and photographs deriving from David Cohen's tenure with Common Cause. The printed materials include articles written by David Cohen on various political topics. Of note in the correspondence, Cohen reflects on his work for Common Cause and receives congratulations as he steps down from his job at Common Cause in 1981. The scrapbooks contain clippings about Cohen's career with Common Cause, and these clippings are from various newspapers across the United States concerning Common Cause activities. The photographs, 1975-1978, primarily depict Cohen at various political meetings for Common Cause. One of the photographs is signed by President Jimmy Carter and inscribed to Cohen. A few scrapbooks in Series VII. (School and Early Career) also contain documents about Common Cause.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
