Who Got There First? Regulars or Rough Riders on San Juan Hill?, answered by Edwin Emerson. Pamphlet printed 1948 with imprint of Roosevelt Rough Riders Association, Whittier, California, 12 pages, pages 3 - 12 in double column, tan wrapper stapled, no title page, title, etc. on front cover where Troop K is shown as Trop K. Pencil correction by Emerson of typographical error, p. 8. This pamphlet, on a very controversial subject, was distributed with the "Compliments of Col. Emerson", and is now said to be an annually rare Theodore Roosevelt item. This was Emerson's own copy. See item 34.
