Scope and Contents
Collection of six journals, kept by Eleanora O'Donnell Hinckley, primarily while traveling or residing in Europe. The journals are unusual in the extent of detail and observation they contain on society, politics, international events, and physical description of surroundings.
- 1913 - 1914. Travels through Peking. Egypt, Russia, and Madrid.
- June - September, 1914. Travels through Paris, Vienna, and Karlsbad. Includes many references to and discussions of war. (Two volumes)
- 1917. Miscellaneous, unbound notes on China.
- 1927. Travels through Latvia.
- 1928. Travels in Paris and Warsaw.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections.
