Miscellaneous document, circa 1916 - 1989
Scope and Contents
Various official documents concerning Konrad, from the German government including: 1. Stiff folio with official documents from Konrad’s Gymnasium. 2. Student notebooks and a binder, presumably in Konrad’s hand, with notes for his law studies. 3. A mock newspaper (“Bier Zeitung”), presumably from Konrad’s years in law school . 4. Various autograph notes and sketches, most likely in Konrad’s hand. 5. Miscellaneous receipts. 6. Various brochures for music festivals, universities, and travel. 7. Several drafts (typed and photocopied) of a chapter for a book unrelated to music, entitled “Skies,” most probably not by Konrad, Ilse, or Marguerite. With an attached typed letter signed from “Katherine” to “Sandy,” also briefly mentioning Konrad. 8. Book of dances with musical notation for recorder. 9. Several incomplete typed and photocopied letters with unidentified correspondents.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
