Fidelio. The Romance of a Wife's Brave Love. From an Old Spanish Story by De Bouilly, newly dramatized by Edwin Emerson. Music by Beethoven. A scenario script for motion picture, typewritten, 59 pages, legal size paper, with various corrections and changes by Emerson in pencil. A romantic play based on a historical background of Renaissance Spain. Bound in heavy limp paper covers with label in Emerson's handwriting. Signed by Emerson with address inside front cover. Another copy (originally numbered 28), very similar to above. With notation by Emerson inside front cover: "Written at Berlin in fall of 1921".
