A copy of "My 7 Favorite Stories of the Year" by O. O. McIntyre; a copy of a poem titled "Up Through the Sea" by Evan Morgan; a typed letter by Mayfield titled "Meeting Dr. Henry Van Dyke"; a March 15, 1928 typed letter and envelope signed from Charles J. Finger (1869-1941), British-American writer and musician; Mayfield's May 3, 1928 typed response to Finger; and an unsigned and undated partial handwritten note possibly by Senator Earle B. Mayfield (D-TX) (1881-1964), father of John S. Items removed from Intimacies in Canadian Life and Letters by Thomas O'Hagan.
