Three typed letters and one envelope to various recipients signed from Maxwell E. Perkins (1884-1947), American editor who discovered Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Thomas Wolfe. This folder also includes the envelope in which the letters were sent to Mayfield. Items removed from Editor to Author: The Letters of Maxwell E. Perkins by John Hall Wheelock.
