The Goetz A. Briefs Papers include Briefs' correspondence; magazine and newsclippings with Briefs' notations, and Georgetown University related materials. Also in the collection are other written materials on economics with corrections and notations; Mont Pelerin Society items; and copies of papers from colleagues.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Contains: memos, letters, and reports regarding football at Georgetown; a copy of "Football for Fun: Official Report of Student Athletic Committee"; possible Adenauer endowment; a proposed American-sponsored business school in Europe; Briefs' son regarding the "nihilist officers of GU Student Bar Association" along with a xerox copy of letter from said organization; class roster for "Development of Capitalism", Fall, 1966; Syllabi from Briefs' and Daniel O'Connell of Government.
