Biographical / Historical

Charles Lamb Kenney was born in Bellevue, outside Paris, and had as a godfather English poet Charles Lamb. He moved to London at a young age and became an editor and critic for the 'Times' at the age of 19. Kenney went on to write essays, poems, books, operas, and songs, and was said to be extremely witty.
