Shandelle was charged with, or took upon himself the responsibilityfor, an exhibition at the above meeting. He decided upon an exhibitionwhich would at the same time add books to the library. Thus he wrote tomany Jesuit institutions throughout the world seeking pedagogical worksthat he could use in the exhibit.
