1 Autograph Letter Signed dated 9/17/1844 from Aaron Homer Byington to Mrs. Mercy Waterbury, his grandmother, discussing his Aunt Fanny, who had been ill due to bleeding of the lungs, and his Uncle James. His mother is staying with Calestie at Bethel near New Haven and Danbury-Bridgeport. He invites his grandmother to spend time with him and is pleased by the environment and weather. The letter discusses "All Creation" and "Calypso and her Nymphs", as well as general goings on in Providence and Old Middletown, including the expiration of his term of apprenticeship and Mr. Stuart.
