The John F. Stevens Papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, news clippings, books, photographs, blueprints and maps collected by John F. Stevens. The Papers are arranged in 8 Series according to subject and material type, in 11 boxes and 1 map case drawer.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are
open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a
minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact
the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

The Map Case Series consists of extra large maps and plans housed in Special Collections map cases (labeled "Box 13" in the finding aid). Among these are numerous maps of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway and older Russian maps of Siberia showing railroads.
