The John F. Stevens Papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, news clippings, books, photographs, blueprints and maps collected by John F. Stevens. The Papers are arranged in 8 Series according to subject and material type, in 11 boxes and 1 map case drawer.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are
open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a
minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact
the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Container Summary
The Oversize Materials Series includes maps, photographs, newspapers and ledgers in three oversize containers. Among these are photos of Stevens in Panama (c.1930), maps of East Asia and the American West and medals and awards received by Stevens, including the Hoover Medal and the John Fritz Medal.
