The John F. Stevens Papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, news clippings, books, photographs, blueprints and maps collected by John F. Stevens. The Papers are arranged in 8 Series according to subject and material type, in 11 boxes and 1 map case drawer.

Container Summary

30 photos of Panama taken at the time of the construction of the Panama Canal, mainly consisting of photos of villages and buildings. 1 photo may be of Theodore Roosevelt viewing the Canal from an open railway car. It is unknown who took the photos. At least three of the photographs may be of Cuba.
