From the Collection:

The Rogers Family Papers consist of fifteen series, the first being on the Rogers & Clarke families in general, and the remainder focusing on the papers of individuals such as James Webb Rogers I, J. Harris Rogers, James Charles Rogers, Cora Rogers Clarke, Phillips H. Clarke Jr., Mae Harris Clarke and George E. Sullivan. The final series contains objects and oversize materials of varying types.

Includes 1 ALS from JCR to Casey Young regarding the Pan-Electric Scandal (15 Jan 1885), Rogers' letter of resignation as the assistant electrician to the Capitol (Jan 1882), 1 ALS from S.C. saunders at the White House (15 May 1888), 3 ALSs to JCR from his mother Cornelia Harris Rogers, 10 ALSs from JCR to his father James Webb Rogers I, and 3 TLSs to JCR from Benajmin Philips.
