The Rogers Family Papers consist of fifteen series, the first being on the Rogers & Clarke families in general, and the remainder focusing on the papers of individuals such as James Webb Rogers I, J. Harris Rogers, James Charles Rogers, Cora Rogers Clarke, Phillips H. Clarke Jr., Mae Harris Clarke and George E. Sullivan. The final series contains objects and oversize materials of varying types.

Includes the following items: 1 stock certificate for $100 for Pan Electric Telephone (7 1/2" x 3 1/2") (1 Mar 1886); 1 booklet, "Pan Electric Company," bearing the perforated seal of the "Pan Electric Telegraph Co 1889;" 1 stock certificate for 100 shares in the Rogers Telephone Telegraph Company issued to Henry George (10 1/2" x 8 1/2") (3 Nov 1888); 1 handwritten document of incorporation for "the Pan Electric Telegraph", 2 pp., signed by J. Harris Rogers, General Joseph E. Johnston, Augstus H. Garland and John C. Brown (25 Sep 1883); 1 handwritten copy of a document regarding the Company and the Supreme Court of D.C., 1 p.; 1 typewritten contract between J. Harris Rogers and John A. Clarke regarding stock in the Pan Electric Company and the American Postal Telegraph, signed by J. Harris Rogers and James Webb Rogers, I (22 May 1884).
