The Rogers Family Papers consist of fifteen series, the first being on the Rogers & Clarke families in general, and the remainder focusing on the papers of individuals such as James Webb Rogers I, J. Harris Rogers, James Charles Rogers, Cora Rogers Clarke, Phillips H. Clarke Jr., Mae Harris Clarke and George E. Sullivan. The final series contains objects and oversize materials of varying types.

Container Summary

6 ALSs from Leonard Wilson to J. Harris Rogers, with 4 carbon TLSs to Wilson and 3 copies of a report, all concerning Rogers' patents in the U.S. and Great Britain. Includes a carbon TLS from Henry H. Lyon to Wilson and an agent's contract between Rogers, Lyon and Wilson, that Wilson will receive 25 per cent of the royalties for the submarine radio devices if he can secure payments of the royalties from the U. S. Government. Also includes 2 carbon TLSs to Stanley Wilson, Leonard Wilson's brother and business partner. Also includes 2 TLSs from L. A. Hazeltine regarding Rogers' underground wireless radio system (4 Nov 1920, 10 Nov 1920).
