The Rogers Family Papers consist of fifteen series, the first being on the Rogers & Clarke families in general, and the remainder focusing on the papers of individuals such as James Webb Rogers I, J. Harris Rogers, James Charles Rogers, Cora Rogers Clarke, Phillips H. Clarke Jr., Mae Harris Clarke and George E. Sullivan. The final series contains objects and oversize materials of varying types.

Container Summary

5 TLSs and 2 telegrams from and 13 TLSs to Clarence J. Owens, Managing Director of the Southern Commercial Congress, who did much legal advocacy for J. Harris Rogers during his patent suits in the 1920's. Includes copies of letters to Owens from officials in the Navy Department, Senator Joseph I. France, the British Naval and Air Attaches and James S. Easby Smith. 2 TLSs from Owens are on behalf of the World Conference on Narcotic Education, and another is from the Pan American Commercial Congress.
