The Rogers Family Papers consist of fifteen series, the first being on the Rogers & Clarke families in general, and the remainder focusing on the papers of individuals such as James Webb Rogers I, J. Harris Rogers, James Charles Rogers, Cora Rogers Clarke, Phillips H. Clarke Jr., Mae Harris Clarke and George E. Sullivan. The final series contains objects and oversize materials of varying types.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Container Summary
22 ALSs, 4 TLSs and 1 xerox copy of an ALS to James Webb Rogers, II (1895 1965), the son of William Shepperd Rogers, almost all during his duty as Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War I. Most of the letters are from his family, with 1 ALS from his aunt, A. Mae Rogers; 9 ALSs from his mother, Martha B. Ashe Rogers; 4 ALSs from his father; 1 ALS from his brother, Joseph Harris Rogers and 1 ALS from his sister, Margaret Rogers. Also includes a letter of introduction for Rogers written to Brigadeer General Charles D. Gaither.
