Lester Bernstein's Diary, July 21 1899 to December 31 1899

Scope and Contents

The diary contains travel descriptions of Bernstein's route from New York to Nicaragua and of Nicaragua itself, of his work for the ICC, and of local peoples and customs. It also contains notes from a July 1899 National Geographic Magazine on Nicaragua and signatures of hired local workers.
