1 Patriotic Envelope most likely sent from a Union soldier to Miss Mary Jane McAfoos [?] at Hillsdale, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Postmarked Georgetown, Washington, D.C. The envelope depicts a woman holding a U.S. flag. The slogan "Onward to Victory" is printed on the envelope. Also printed is the phrase: "The War for the Union."
