Scope and Contents

Autograph notebook, circa 1857, by Algernon Charles Swinburne. Includes drafts of a drama about the Borgias; poems (including "Hide and Seek" and "Shelley"); part of a poem, "The Birch Book II"; part of a prose tale about Edward at the "Switchester School, Birchhampstead." Total: 182 pages.
