Autograph letter signed from Algernon Charles Swinburne to Philip Bourke Marston (dated May 15, 1884, 2 pages). Reference to signing a fan owned by Helen Zimmern, to arranging a visit from Bourke, and to receiving a letter from the poet Sir Henry Taylor (1800-1886), "who writes letters of seven pages full of interest & charm, at the age of eighty-four - which I call setting 'us youth'...an excellent example." Includes autograph notes by John Mayfield.
