Container Summary

Printed greeting cards (18) sent to Herbert Mason, variously signed by Algernon Charles Swinburne, Alice Swinburne, Charlotte Swinburne, Isabel Swinburne, and Lady Jane Swinburne. Includes card from Lady Jane Swinburne containing inserts: \ inscribed note, "With Jane H. Swinburne's love and best wishes"; and newspaper clipping of a poem "Seven Years Old," written by Swinburne for Herbert Mason. Also included: envelope bearing autograph inscription, "H.W. Mason Esq" with Swinburne's initials in the lower left corner; and envelope bearing autograph notes by John Mayfield.
