Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. Day book kept by Anna Bull Smith, begun in 1815. Contained within are accounts from Hackwood, as well as miscellaneous pieces of correspondence (1822-1915). The papers of Rear Admiral L.A. Bostwick are also included. These papers were found in a house which was owned by Richard X. Evans
