Scope and Contents

Based on the ideals of Bolivar, the Court was modeled after the Central American Court of Justice in an attempt to settle judicial disputes based on equity under the law. First proposed at the Fifth-American Conference in Chile, plans for the Court were further developed at the Seventh Pan-American Conference at Montevideo.
