American Society of International Law, 1906 - 1939
Scope and Contents
Founded in 1906, the Society was an outgrowth of the 1905 Mohonk Conference. One of the organizers- along with such men as George Kirchwey, Robert Lansing, and Oscar Straus- Scott was selected as the Society's first secretary and managing editor of the "American Journal of International Law". Included are files from the 1912 conference of American Society for the Judicial Settlement of International Disputes, held in Washington, DC.
