From the File: 0.25 Linear Feet (32 letters. Alphabetical order by person who wrote the letter. Three of the letters do not have Civil War dates, but they were kept in this series because they were donated together with the Civil War letters. The letters are the gift of Joseph E. Jeffs.)

Container Summary

1 Autograph Letter Signed (with envelope) to his Father James Williams and his Mother, regarding efforts to build winter quarters, being on guard at camp, the status of other boys from Point Pleasant, and sending money home. There is a drawing of the new regiment building. The envelope is a patriotic envelope: "Connecticut" with Connecticut state seal in a U.S. flag. Sent from Headquarters, Ringgold, Regiment Camp Davis, Kalarama Heights, Company A, Washington, D.C. to Point Pleasant, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
