Scope Note

From the Collection:

The Frank Reynolds 2 Papers comprise a set of personal papers belonging to the American journalist and broadcaster Frank Reynolds (1923-1983). A large number of condolence letters written to Mrs. Henrietta Reynolds, Frank's widow, are contained in this collection. Some single letters of condolence from prominent Americans are found in this archive. Also present are photographs depicting not only Frank Reynolds, but also many notable Americans, such as U.S. Presidents. Documents of many formats are also preserved: ABC News video tapes, plaques and awards, phonographic records, and objects.

The Frank Reynolds Papers 2 are housed in 24 boxes and amount to 22.25 linear feet of material. The documents date from 1938 to 1986, and the bulk of them date from 1968 to 1983.

The Frank Reynolds Papers 2 complement the Frank Reynolds Papers 1 which are already preserved in the Georgetown University Library Booth Family Center for Special Collections.
