Bound Manuscript Journal kept by Charles D. Jameson, an engineer who was a consultant to the Chinese River Conservancy in Peking, China. He spent 6 years in China. He was called upon to alleviate the misery caused by massive floods in the Hat country. Jameson finished his preliminary survey of 1913. Also includes printed dinner invitation to Jameson from the Crew of the Half Moon. Gift of Willis Van Devanter, 5/28/2010.
