Monika Hellwig Files.
Scope and Contents Note
The Monika Hellwig Papers document the career of Monika Hellwig (1931-2005), a noted theologian who taught at Georgetown University for several decades. The collection includes extensive files kept by Hellwig over the years. The files cover periods when Hellwig was a professor at Georgetown University, the president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, and an active leader in the Christian Life Communities movement. Also present are printed materials by Hellwig and those by others. Appointment books are found among the papers. Some multimedia items and awards and honorary degrees are contained in the colleciton, too.
