Collection-level Scope and Content Note
The Robert M. Wagner Papers consist mostly of brief letters between Georgetown University alumnus Richard M. Wagner (C'48) and his friends Bill and Hillary Clinton together with photographs of Wagner with the Clintons. Much of the correspondence concerns gifts of wine that Wagner gave to the Clintons. Two memoirs by Wagner provide ample background information about his life and work. Some of the correspondence concerns Georgetown University awards and scholarships. Memorabilia from Bill Clinton's two Presidential Inaugurations is also present.
